Louisa originally hails from Georgetown, Washington D.C. She grew up in Northern Virginia and attended the University of Richmond, specializing in Political Science, Philosophy and Fine Art. After graduating in 2005, she attended Parsons School of Design for her MFA in Photography and Related Media. She has worked as a Photo Editor at many magazines, news outlets and non-profits including Vanity Fair, Conde Nast Portfolio, Maxim, Entertainment Weekly, Newsweek, The Daily Beast and conservation international both as a photo researcher and shoot producer. In 2014, she completed her graduate degree at The Australian Film Television Radio School in Documentary Film in Sydney, Australia. She is currently the photography ART DIRECTOR AND a CREATIVE MANAGER at the pew charitable trusts located in Washington, dc.
After years of living in various locations such as New York City, London, Honolulu and Sydney, Louisa is based in Alexandria, Va. she lives with her husband Shannon, two young children and their rottweiler. She loves storytelling, espresso and dark humor.
